Genevieve's first film assignment was to play opposite Yves Montand in Alain Resnais'French new Wave classic, La Guerre Est Finie. Her fifty-six credits include (w/ Alan Bates) the 60's classic, King of Hearts. Also with Clint Eastwood in Tightrope, Alan Rudolph's Choose Me, Trouble in Mind, and The Moderns, Michael Crichton's Coma, Brian DePalma's Obsession, David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, Michel Brault's Paper Wedding, and as Anne Boleyn in Anne of a Thousand Days, for which she won the Golden Globe and Received a Best Actress Academy Award nomination.
